| The 200 was first introduced in Germany in 1987. The 200 replaced the 5000cs due to an incident that 60 minute misposted. The 200 was first introduced to the USA in late 1988. All the 200 came with Turbos, but all had different options. The main options was the All wheel drive system, better known as quattro and the 3 speed Automactic tranmission. Audi sales, at that time, was real slow. Many people did not put thier trust in Audi. Till this day people still view the Audi as a Volkswagon.
